With the intervention of the Region I conducted DNA analysis of 10 varieties and between these, the results are less than 8 “new genotype”, new varieties that could give different wines that you can insert in the national catalog.
The names given are: Rodiano NERO, Arenaccia, VESPAREDDA, Aglianicone CROW, RUBINELLA, BIANCO CUORE, ARMONERA, rodiana BIANCO, NERALASCA.
At the moment in the field I’m still studying the behavior of other varieties of Cilento (Sicilì Bussento Policastro) whose DNA has not yet been analyzed.
